Speeding up your application with the IIS Auto-Start feature

After deployment of any resources on the sharepoint application, it takes few seconds or sometimes couple of minutes to warmup the application after deployment.

When a user open the application or website immediately after the deployment , it would take sometime to open the application and which may frustrate the end users waiting for the app to open. IIS 7.x provides us with an Auto restart feature available with Application pool in IIS.
